Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS)
DPIIT
Launched in 2021 with an outlay of ₹945 crore, SISFS provides up to ₹20 lakh as grant for PoC, and up to ₹50 lakh as convertible debt for market entry via 300+ accredited incubators. As of June 2024, ₹402.83 crore has been disbursed to 2,257 startups

Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS)

Collateral-free credit guarantee up to ₹10 crore for loans sanctioned by 42 Member Institutions; guarantee cover is automatic on portal filing and attracts a 2% annual fee.

NIDHI-PRAYAS
DST
DST's NIDHI-PRAYAS Program aims to provide support to young innovators to translate their innovative ideas into prototypes. An early stage prototype/ proof of concept (PoC) PRAYAS fund is very effective to convert the technology ideas and innovations into working products, and to eventually spur entrepreneurship.

The key objective is to ensure availability of the seed support through incubators for providing timely support to potential startups, thereby enabling them to take their ventures to the next level and facilitate their success in the marketplace.

Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups (GENESIS)
MeitY (MeitY Startup Hub)
With an aim to boost the startup ecosystem in Tier-II & Tier-III cities in the country, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has approved implementation of the 'Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups (GENESIS)' Scheme with a budgetary outlay of Rs. 490 Crore for a duration of 5 years.

Idex
iDEX-Innovations for Defence Excellence with budgetary support of Rs. 498.78 crore for a period of 5 years from 2021-22 to 2025-26 was launched in May 2021 with an objective to provide financial support to nearly 300 Startups/ MSMEs/individual innovators and about 20 Partner incubators through Defence Innovation Organisation (DIO). Idex Spark - upto 1.5 Cr INR and IDEX Prime - up to 10Cr INR
